He has a masters degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, USA 

PhD in Natural Resources Policy and Management from University of Oxford, London, UK.

Worked as the Director of the Royal Education Council.

He also worked as the Joint Director of Nature Conservation Division and as Park Manager for Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park.

Worked as a research professor in Korea University, Seoul, from April 2016 to June this year.
